backup burn fail with ImgBurn...HelpT

i was trying to make my 1st backup and i got this error

i/o error!

what went wrong as these discs are too expensive to keep making mistakes

any help much appreciated.

I've got the same error when using imgburn. I have even used clonecd and I got a burn fail as well. Any insight to these errors is appreciated.

i tried with clone cd and img burn and both faild.
i then used dvd decrypter, set the layer break, changed book type to dvd-rom and burnt at 2.4x and it worked perfectly lol.
although i think the fails may have been due to me using crap disc's lol
