You need t tell us more info on it so we can help you out...
1. Is it FAT or SLIM?
2. What is it's version..
:)
(I think it is SLIM cause it's version is 3.6 ...)
Anyways do you know anyone with CFW PSP..??

Uhmm...Obviously has has FW 3.60
Anyway, you have to create Pandora's Battery and you will also need to make a Mgic Memory Stick (preferably using a SanDisk or Sony 1GB).
Then all you have to do is put the battery and Memory Stick into your PSP and press X and in few minutes you will have Dark_AleX Custom Firmware 3.71 M33-2. Then you should upgrade again to 3.71 M33-4 (Latest version). Good luck little newbie! :)
PSP Slim: Piano Black, 3.90 M33 + Sony 8GB MSPD
Airsoft Gun Of Choice: ICS M4 R.I.S. Baby!

You need to get a FAT PSP Battery, to create it, here is the iamge of one, where you can see the pin that needs to be cut. Good luck!

Nope, you will work with your memory stick and YOUR slim battery with that guide, after you have finished creating the Stick THEN you add the battery and it will make the PSP Boot or start form the memory which will give you a guide to follow, like Press X for M33, so you press X and it starts working!

No NO NO, you said you got your hands on a pandora battery right?
So first work wiht your slim battery, DO NOT DO NOTHING TO THE BATTERY, you will read the guide and follow instructions on creating the Magic Stick, after you have finished you will take your slim battery out and THEN add the pandora battery to downgrade or upgrade your PSP Slim

The Magic memory Stick is the easy part because you can create it with your PSP SLIM as is using the easy installer.
The part you have to figure out is the service battery part.
You have 3 options for this.
Option 1) Find a friend or family member that has a custom firmware PSP. Ask them to convert a Battery to a Pandora Battery using an application that will only run on a Custom Firmware PSP.
Option 2) Buy a Datel Tool Battery.
Option 3) Hardmod your Battery (if it is compatible).
I would use the 1 wire Hardmod method when doing the Battery Hardmod. It is easier to unsolder the 1 wire to undo the Hardmod and bring the Battery back to normal. If you cut the PIN it would be harder to solder the pin connection back to get the Battery back to normal.
This is all explained in the guide above.
I recommend you do Option 1 or Option 2 before doing Option 3 but in the end it is up to you.

Place the Magic Memory Stick into your PSP. Then place the Datel Tool Battery into it.
The green power led should come on then the WiFi/Memory Stick leds should flash and a menu should come up.
press X to install 3.71 M33-2 to the PSP.
After it is finished it will either say to press X to shut down or it will shut down automatically. At this time take the Datel Tool Battery out and replace it with the normal Battery.
You are now finished.

A Pandora Battery or Datel Tool Battery work in the same way.
It puts the PSP into service mode so you can boot from the Memory Stick. Which the Magic Memory Stick can installing/unbrick a PSP with custom firmware or official firmware.

Ooh so that's how it works...its the same way when a computer has to be formatted or its been messed up by a virus...where the only way to fix it is to make the first command of the computer to read a CD-ROM so that you can install a Windows again..am i right??

Speaking of Magic Memory Sticks, I can confirm the a SanDisk 4GB MSPD can successfully be converted to a MMS and can unbrick/install CFW on both the PSP Slim and the PSP Phat with any firmware. I just wanted to let everyone know that because I have heard alot of people asking if a 4 GB MSPD would work. I'm not sure if any other brand of Memory Stick would work, or if and 8GB will. Happy pandorising (if that's a word)!
