this site here says that i dont need to actually put a chip in a 360
is that true? and if so all I have to do is just swich out the firmware of the system? Idk this is alll very confusing to me

any help would be greatly appriciated

Yes and no, it depends on which type of DVD rom you have. This has been covered and i would suggest doing a search of this forum. in fact, I think the second post on xbox 360 general discussion is on how to mod the firmware (probably a good place to start reading).

I looked up the newspaper and paid someone to do this for me. If you are not very technical, i recommend you do the same...
