hi all lookin to back up my original 360 game read the tutorials but stuck at hot swap bit,my drive opens from beneath the laser so struggeling to get at it is their any way to do it with the case if seen and emergancy hole talked about but dont understand thast bit.

Buy a Samsung Kreon off E-bay and it is so much easier than the hotswap method.

i agree, i have the samsung sh-d162c and its worth it.

Does it have an eject hole? It'll be a tiny hole somewhere on the face of the drive.

yes it has a hole about 2mm wide above the volume control if thats what u mean bhetrick

cheers for the help guys got the hotswap done with the small hole way and looking in to a samsung kero drive.
one more prob i have is i keep getting an error in the ripper
Error @ 89088 : Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
anyone any ideas im using a disc at 7.88g is that the prob.
