Well i doubt many PS3 users will have 360 in this forum.
My opinion is COD4 is better, Halo is unrealistic in terms of bullets to kill an ememy in online play.

I have a 360 and i think a few other PS3 owners like myself also own 360s.
ON the matter of Halo 3 VS COD4.
Halo is more of a futuristic first person shooter whereas COD4 is more modern warfare first person shooter .
So in my opinion for Fantasy Halo is better and for Realism COD4 is better.

yeah i like playing halo 3 sometimes, its something different to the real (blood-life like) shooters like cod4 and resistance. But if i had a choice id choose cod4 over it.

Played HALO 3 on my 360 for about 10mins.... thats it.
Cant stop playing COD4.

loved halo 3 from start to finish, great game/ Cod4 is a great game, but i would choose halo any other day, i find the game more fun to play in my opinion.

Definitely have more fun playing halo 3 online. COD4 is good, finised the game on VET and that last bonus mission too 'Mile High Club' in 60 secs. Played both for a while, but I like Halo 3 more.

i'd have to agree, cod4 is more fun. played halo and it's alright, but even if i owned a 360 i would play COD4.

cod has a really prospective and organised online gamplay xperience
whereas halo 3 online is just *beep* *triple beep* *£^£$*

People who dont like Halo 3 usually suck at it, as it require more skill.
From paying attention to you radar all the time. Deciding to move stealthy or not. Having to make quick decisions like deciding on a plasma granade or a regular granade. Knowing each and every weapon and best way to use it. Timing exactly when to melee or jump.
Use a vehicle or not. Then theres your equipment also, from mines, to shielding. Theres just so much more to have in mind rather then COD4 , where you basically just point and shoot. Camp shoot. Hide in grass Shoot. Its alot more streamlined, simple. Yes I did play COD4, alot too, even finished complete game in VET, with the Mile High Club in 60secs done.

Halo 3 is not as good as COD4, id rather play a more adult game like COD4 with real guns then guns like Plasma Rifles and sky high jumping in Halo3, its usually down to age, if your young you like Halo if your more into life-like games you'd prefer Call of Duty.

What your trying to say Sci-Fi, Halo 3 is a Sci-Fi game. In other words you dont like Sci-fi shooters and you prefer "LIFE LIKE" games. Thats good for you. Halo is the best Sci-Fi shooter there is. COD4 Best "LIFE LIKE" shooter there is. Thats how I'd put it.

story mode yeah id say ur pretty correct. but if u have tried the game online yud now that it is all about stealth and split second decision. if u get 5 kills in a row if u decide to launch an air strike u have to strategically plot it. u have to create a weapon set which has the right arms and ability

(sorry im writing this on a ps3) for your combat style u have to set a trap if u are sniping out of window to kill anyone who intends to silently sneak up behind u and knife u and u have to keep yr eyes peeled 4 shooters because cod4 has realistic bullet physics so u dont now wat u r talking about.

Thats odd, cause when I play online and see people stab others in the back, they dont really *sneak* for the kill, they usually rush it while they can and then stab em. What shooter dont you keep your eyes peeled ? As far as I know all of them do. Halo has unlrealistic bullet physics ? lol yeah ok, why dont you give a reason as to how. Do the bullets curve ? Go through rocks ? Do tell.

I must say that COD4 is really quite amazing, both graphically and controls.
But they really need to fix the voice function. Allow us to mute other players or click an option to mute everybody. Especially with the voice pitch change that ps3 is now capable of doing. Now every annoying little idiot who has a mic sounds either like a witness protection person or a chipmunk. Also a push-to-talk function would be nice. I dont need to hear everytime someones dog barks, or someones mom walks in the room. Even with voice sound turned all the way down. Some people must have their outbound way up or something cause i can still hear their annoying selves.
Plus they need to give us a way to communicate with other players beside voice chat. Enable us a chat box where we can quickly write messages to eachother or something, quite like Counterstrike.

mmm. you have made some good points but there again i have never been much of a halo fan i guess im just dont like sci fi shooters

agreed but CoD also needs spilt second desicions as to where to make a airstrike where to camp and all but there is a weird thing that i find in CoD stabbing a guy in the leg would kill him??thats not too realistic(^.^) well i would chose halo3 cuz of its large range of weaponary ...but h3 and CoD has good potentais as good games:D

i hav both and a ps3 and a 360 and both games i personally was never a huge fan of halo dont get me wrong yes its a good game but no where near as big as the hype they make it out to be personally like cod4 hands down over halo
