ok my friend jus bought his psp off ebay and he check the firmware it said -!-!-....when i saw it i was lyk wtf??..it can plae isos and run homebrew etc etc but theres a prob when we plae tekken wi fi mode....it goes black and writes running umd disk...starting ram...system failure exiting in 5...i relly wana plae wif him...help if possible and we tried pandora(^.^)

probably its 3.52 m33-4, but, some1 used the firmware spoofer on it, probably the seller.... i would recommend using DCv3 and put on 3.71 m33-4 or use the firmware spoofer to rename it back again.
but if its not 3.52 m33-4 it will brickk since the firmware spoofer only works with 3.52m33-4.

about the game, again i rcomend upgrading to 3.71m33-4 much more stable, in terms of gaming, and has the theme feature. its up to your friend.

thx rafasmax will try tat when his free...btw i tink its not 3.52 m33-4 cuz it dosent have the red recovery menu and no vsh.......umm any more ideals will be welcomed....DDD......THX TO ALL HU HELPS......
EDIT: his recovry is in black..??!!...lols....still no vsh and i tink we try a game that requires 3.52 and higer to play (umd) but it needs to be updated and my friend dose not wan to do dat.....

check to see if it has a custom theme feature,if it has then its 3.60 or + and i still recommend using DCv3 to get the recovery menu and vsh.

thx for the help but my friend jus gave up and bought a new 1..:D yay!! can finally plae tekken wif him....but his wondering if he could some how salvage it ?? any ideals of wat we shud do to his extra psp?
EDIT: it does not have any custom theme feature we tried DD....
