Need help with Sagem dbox multimedia Terminal DV3

I have got a Sagem dbox multimedia terminal DV3 cable box,I have had this box for about 12 months and have started to lose channels and it keeps freezing up. I have no Idea how to scan or updte the box and would be very greatfull for any information regarding this problem.
