is it updated to 3.52 m33-4? if it's not, update it right away. if it still doesn't work, update to 3.71 m33 and then to 3.71 m33-3.

you cannot update to 3.71 m33 without having 3.52 m33-3 or -4.

update to 3.52 m33-4. it makes the system more stable by removing bugs that were in previous releases.

it's a quick update. but whenever you update, always have the psp plugged into the charger; prevents any premature power failure.

if it goes to a black screen when it's loading, then it might need higher firmware. upgrade the one that doesn't load the game to 3.71 m33-3 and see if it works.

otherwise, it might be the memory stick.

no need for restarting from 1.5. recheck the recovery settings. if the sony np9660 driver doesn't work, then try the m33 driver. also, all of the advanced options should be disabled.

if the game was downloaded, then it might have been a bad rip. try another copy. if you own the game, then ripping them yourself is way better.
