Problems Burning .ISO

Hi,


I'm having issues getting an .ISO file to burn fully nevermind play on the 360,my drive is a Sony DRU-810A,i'm using Philips DVD+R DL discs,trying to burn at 2x or 2.4x.

I first tried burning in NERO but around 42% thru it failed.

I then tried Xbox backup creator and that didn't even start,it gave an error Optimal Power Calibration error.

could somebody shed light on what i'm doing wrong please?

i just tried advice from another post sugesting using dvd decrypter,setting the layer break and switching to DVD-ROM,but still failed at 41%.

I tried cloneCd also,same problem...got to 41% and failed.

your burner seems to be the problem. have you burned dual layer's before??

no I haven't ever burned dual layers before,but obviously burned normal Data DVD's.

my drive is listed as 'working' for burning 360 games...

i don't know, it is failing at the same time on every program you use. first, try burning another iso, if it still fails, then most likely your burner is on the fritz, they do that from time to time, depends on how much you use it.
