I just opened my xbox 360 and I have a hitachi 0079FK. From what I have read it's not easy to flash with iXtreme 1.4. Something with solder/desolder blablabla it's to difficult (btw why can't it be flashed like any other hitachi???). Is there a new version of iXtreme going to be released by maximus where you can just flash it like 46/47/59 hitachi drives? (If so when will it be relaesed?)

ixtreme 1.4 was release like 1 month ago. i don't believe there is anything on the way in terms of making it flash like the earlier versions of the hitachi drives.
