bought a psp with version 3.71,,,downgraded it with pandora battery ,,,,,since im all new to this psp hacks and everything,,,i would juss like to know whats a good custom firmware to upgrade to and what kool hacks i should putt in it to??? any advice or hacks tip?

The best is 3.71 M33-4, its the newest updated one. Features include built in umd ripper, play rips from you mem stick. there's hundreds of homebrew application u can add later

WHat he means by rips is back up PSP games which are called ISOs

And he;s right about 3.71 M33-4

How can I rip a UMD with 3.71 M33 firmware to play it later from memory stick?

Yup,go to the VSH menu on your XMB and change the XMB Usb device to UMD disc.

Or to congiguration on your recovery menu and press on XMB device until it changes to UMD Disc.

And then toggle your USB through the recovery menu and the folders that it shows whould be the ones of the UMD.

Or just go to USB connection on your XMB hope you understand.

just in case you are not familiar, your press select while in xmb to get into vsh menu.



I still play my wii, just not as much. Gave my PSP to my son.

yup,,,and if that doesn't is because its turned off...you can turn it back on on the configuration option on the recovery menu
