I have gotton this error
An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting. I am wondering if this could be because I transported it in a plastic storage box and maybe something got knocked out of place.. Can anyone help me.. Please.. Could it be the mod? or the drive?

I had the same problem but that was because my little cousin touch the bottom of the game disc and ruin it. Maybe it just the disc and not the wii.
