I have a regular FAT PSP, running 3.03 firmware with a non-T82A motherboard that I have had since 2005 and have not been able to downgrade.

I just want a straight answer. Is there ANY way of downgrading my PSP currently that DOES NOT Involve using an unpatched copy of GTA:LCS or Lumines or a PSP already running custom firmware?

Here in Australia you can't even find a patched copy of GTA:LCS or Lumines anymore, let alone the original versions, I know of nobody with a modded PSP and I don't want to use Ebay.

Am I well and truly fked or is there some way of finally downgrading this paperweight?

not possible without the things you listed. gta is needed for 2.81-3.11 and lumines is needed for 3.30-3.50. and the easiest way to make pandora's battery is with a custom firmware psp.

you can try hardmodding the psp battery to make it pandora's battery and download totalnewbi installer for the magic memory stick. but it should only be done on a spare battery. only original sony batteries should be used.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

So if you can make a Magic MemStick and Pandora Battery on your own then what do you need another PSP for?

You don't if you either Hardmod the Battery (The battery needs to be compatible to do this) or buy a Datel Tool Battery.

It is just recommended and easier to create the Pandora Battery via a custom firmware PSP using a homebrew application instead of Hardmodding it or spending extra money on a Datel Tool Battery.
