is this possible?. sorry if this has been answered or asked, i had a hard time using the search function. im able to play individual files from rips on my hard drive using powerdvd ultra, but id like to be able to play these movies as if i was reading from the disc because for some reason power dvd ultra won let me change any of the audio settings when playing directly from the file. i also have hd-dvd rips...so is it possible to do this? i know when i drag the folder to power dvd ultra its just plays all the files in there like a playlist

without any conversion-theres only one way

i thnk theres older version of powerdvd that plays the rips from the hd like commerical movie (with menu and sub t's and whole movie)

Once you have ripped your HD DVD to your HDD use Imageburn to build an ISO then use Daemon Tools to emulate a DVD drive, this will allow PowerDVD to play back the rip as if it was the original disc.

really, thats awesome, i always assumed that img burn wasn't able to do that
