i ran the OS Pandora Battery tool 0.3 from xmb and then i got the same thing
please help
ERROR:AN EXTENDED MEMORY MANAGER IS ALREADY INSTALLED.
XMS DRIVER NOT INSTALLED
is this the problem??
I have read that OS Pandora Battery tool, UPMS and Hellcats Pandora Tool will not work on 3.80 M33. They will need to re-write the code for 3.80 M33.
UPDATE: HERE is suposiddly a plugin for a Pandora Creator for 3.80 M33

The only side effect this has is not being able to use the Battery Tool Application itself on the 3.80 M33 custom firmware. You can still use a Pandora Battery on it to recover back to 3.71 M33-2 with an unbricker.
But you will need to use a PSP with custom firmware 3.71 M33-4 or below when converting the battery to a Pandora Battery.

ok now i am up to this step :
Now take out the Battery from the PSP then reinsert it back in (make sure the AC Adapter is not plugged into the PSP).. The Universal menu should come up letting you reinstall 3.71 M33 to the PSP SLIM.
Instead of a menu popping out, the screen just went blank and nothing comes out at all, all it does was "powered on"~ cant go back to recovery mode as well ! help!
edit: oh one thing to be mentioned, is that this step :
After it has finished writing the files you will get an image similar to below. Just type Y and ENTER to finish the instillation of files to the Magic memory Stick.

was never shown in the installer, all it ask was press any key to close...

ok, now i can boot it into XMB and was able to go in to the Pandora's battery tool in the game folder, however, the option to revert the battery back to normal was greyed out. Assuming that the backup file was deleted during my second attempt with the restoration, what can i do now? is there any way to revert it back to normal now? or do i need to use another battery ,ie, buying a new one. I am able to boot into XMB only if my AC adaptor is plugged in, if i use the battery which was modified , it goes back to asking me if i want to install the CFW... hmm and is it bad to play games with that modified battery installed?

If you have an iso file, you can just copy the file to your ISO folder in your psp drive. ie:X:\ISO At least that's what I have to do.

Try using your browser's downloading tool? It might take some time, just keep trying, because that's what happened to me as well. Goodluck.

Well you might have to wait until someone uploads it as a torrent file or something? At the moment, I had downloaded too much and now it has exceeded the limit, so I can't help for now =(

Wondering if I should buy a semibrick slim psp for $110?
"You are bidding a Used Sony PSP Silver Ice Slim 2001 Semi-Bricked System and No Reserved. The power went on, battery is fine and the USB is worked. The PSP system crashed for unexpected that couldn't read UMD disc, game can't play or load and the WiFi isn't working anymore. The condition is mint and it has no scratch or damage. This come with the PSP Bricked System, a battery pack, a Black Pouch and a Wii Wrist Strap. If you can fix this then its all yours. I don't accept return, since I can't fix it myself."
Also on the pics he took it was 3.71 on Jan31 with no macaddress and then he updated to 3.80 and took a pic on feb 3

This is why allot of the Senior and Addicts hate creating guides and helping other people out. Why even create a guide if users do not read it in the first place. The first line of the guide clearly says...
Quote: This guide is intended for PSP SLIM users. But it also can be used for semi-bricked FAT PSP's as well.
Please to all members read the guide and past previous post to see if your question has already been answered in the guide or in previous post.

i appreciate your work to create a guide...but not answering my question take you sure longer than just give a straight answer...

Yes you can.
The only difference between this guide and the other Pandora Guides I have created is this is done through Recovery Menu where the other is done through the XMB.
