I have a hardware modded xbox but I don't know the mod chip name.

when booting from the mod chip (I get a evo x pink triangle in the top right by holding down the power button to power on) it boots but doesn't load I just get a black screen, I think this is because I put the wrong evoxdash.xbe in the c drive

When booting from normal xbox dashboard I get the contact service agent message?

Any ideas?

Use the AID 4.10 or Slayers disk to reinstall the dashboard of your choice, just burn it to a DVD and insert and then boot with the moddchip turned on (that?s with the Evox icon on the flubber screen) and then read the manual on how to reinstall your dashboard.
