ok i just got my xbox 360 for christmas this year i played madden 08 and it kept freezing 5 minutes into the game so i contacted xbox said it was probably a faulty disk but i then played need for speed most wanted and guitar hero 2 and it keeps freezing and it wont stop i tried moving the console all around see if it was ventalation problems but that still aint helping at all what can i do???

If you just got it new then I'd return it to the store and exchange it.

sound more like a bad laser to me.
i had one not long ago tha kinda did the same thing, it started freezing and it would make a beep noise, after a while i had rrod.
good luck.
