I searched Resistance 2 on the net and i thought we should have our own thread about the game.

What would you like to see in the sequel?

What are the chances it will come out it 2008?

I cannot wait for this game as im a big fan of Resistance: Fall of Man, i would like a longer campaign and split-screen online play as well as even better graphics such as lighting in dark areas as it has been found out Insomniac used an outdated graphic system to create fall of man compared to the one used in Ratchet and Clank.

Awesome thread. Well first of all, I would like to see a longer campaign. Maybe 80+ hours? Nothing I can beat in a week. 40 player online is great and it could most likely be patched to handle more, but I'd like to see maybe 64+ players and some new gametypes. Online co-op is a must have feature as well.

I wouldnt like driving online, i found that annoying on Halo.
I actually think it will be the army pushing the Chimeran spread back to Russia, until the final sequel they find the core of the Chimera breeding in Russia and they have to destroy it! Maybe Hale turns into a Chimera, but if they make these games good Nathan Hale could be the face of PS3 as Master Chief is the face of Xbox 360.

Online i would like 4 team capture the flag, woah that would even more crazy than it is now.
More maps and game mode types like base capture etc online
More customisation online, Customise Chimera!!!!!
But how long does a next-gen game take to make these days, Insomniac have been busy with Ratchet and Clank so i guess work was started a couple of months ago?
