I'm using 3.71 m33-4 but I can't play daxter for some reason. It just goes black after saving directly after saying new game. Am I doing something wrong?

3.71 M33-4 Is the latest Custom Firmware.

3.80 Is the Latest Official Firmware.

But im guessing that your ISO...if it is an ISO might me corrupted..or unfinish...i suggest downloading it again...;)

Or try this here...but this guide is only if your iso's won't load.

Try to get another CSO or ISO. That should work

funny thing is, back in the day I had this exact iso working under devhook (before the custom firmwares)

Well sometimes your MS messes up and its not giving you the whole memory..maybe its a fake...also you might not have put the ISO right...maybe it stopped at some point when putting on the memory stick...;)

Are you trying to load the previous gamesave that you used before?

Some have had issues using gamesaves from older firmware versions and Devhook.

If so make a backup of the gamesave then delete it and see if you can start a new game creating a new gamesave file.

If it is a CSO file try converting it to an ISO file.

Also try setting your UMD/ISO clock speed to 333.
