Hi Guys,
I have a Wii ISO that I have burned to a Verbatim DVD-R using ImgBurn. The ISO is 4GB. I have heard from a lot of people that an average size official Wii Disc is about 1.5GB and that using 4GB will damage the laser? Can anyone explain to me how it damages the laser and is there any way to make the 4GB ISO into a 1.5GB? I would also like this question to be answered for burning a Game Cube ISO (it is 1.5GB when it is done downloading)

What????

Whoever told you any of that information must have been high or something.

Wii Disks are full single layers dvd and no matter the content of the game, each game has an exact size, and will fill a 4.7 gb dvd. The size of an average GC game is 1.5 gb as they are simply mini dvds.

You don't need to down convert or resample or jimmy rig your wii iso's.

Burn them as they are recieved and all will be good.

I assume you have a modchip installed, also.
