It really depends on the software, some old games meant for 95' will run on XP without even using compatibility mode, others need special patches an fixes installed first.
Google around and see if there are any patches/fixs for running that game on XP or any special steps you need to take.
It's not a game apparently... it's MBA as in "Master of Business Administration". It's made Pro One which is a division of Sofsource (Take note!! Sofsource is not a typo, its just how it's spelled, without a 't')

Still, same principle applies, it all depends on who wrote the software, how it was written, etc...
From the title I take it this wasn't a very widespread or popular piece of software? It looks like you might be out of luck, as usually only popular games and applications from the past have any dedicated community at all.
One last thing, try running the Program Compatibility Wizard instead of manually do it. Open up Help and Support from Start, and in the search bar type in "Program Compatibility Wizard". Follow the steps and try that.
