I have a friend with a slim with ofw 3.80, I have a fat with 3.71 m33-3. He wants cfw and I told him about the 3.80cfw that might be coming out. Now my question is can I make my battery a pandora, make his psp slim to cfw and still use my batt for my psp? Also is there a way to get cfw on a slim without pandora batt?
Is making a pandoras batt and changing it back fairly easy? Is there a chance the battery will mess up and never work again? Could you give me some links on how I go about the whole process from making a pandoras batt to installing the cfw on slim psp and changing the batt back. Do I have to wipe and or reinstall my psp or will it remain unchanged. Sorry i'm such a pain, some of this stuff seems confusing to me. Thanks again.

@dmanpsp , very easy, it could mess up the battery if u use a different backup file, have a look at this http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/552549 and check the quote. U will have to wipe everything ir u psp flash drive and ur MS.

To downgrade (and get a custom firmware) or unbrick your PSP, u need the Pandora's Battery. There is three ways to get the Pandora Battery.
1. Find a someone who has a Custom Firmware that is willing to let you borrow their psp. You will use their psp to softmod the battery. Meaning using software to make the Pandora. If you willing to do this, follow this guide:
GUIDE
2. Hardmod the battery. Meaning that you have to open that battery up, and pulling out a pin. Note that if you pull the wrong one, your battery would be messed. If you are willing to do this, follow this guide
GUIDE
3. The most safest way, is to buy the DATEL tool battery. It is already a premade pandora battery. If so, follow this guide or use the same guide on the second step.

Note: You can not use Vista to run the Pandora program. If you do have Vista, plz tell me and I will give u an another guide.
