Can i upgrade memory card with custom firware

hi everyone
i currently have a 512mb card installed in my PSP with the 3.71 m33 firmware but just got a new 4gb card for christmas. What do i need to do to swap memory cards? Do i have to re-do the custom firmware process again from scratch or do i just copy all files and folders from my old memory card to the new one? any help will be appreciated.

Just swap the cards over, backing up anything you need and copying over. I also usually format the card with the psp before copying everything back on. Not sure you have to but habit that stuck with me.
