problem with xcopy using +R

i have had no problems with xpress as long as i use +RW media. if i use +R then i still get a complete burn but my dvd player will not read it, but it plays fine in the computer. if i use the same media in xcopy then i have no problems with +R. can anybody help?
i made an error on the subject, the problem is only in xpress.
