O.k, I just bought a xbox 360, an i want to flash the drive, I know that i have a Samsung dvd drive, but I haven't opened it up to see it checked to see if its a m28 or the other samsung drive.
CAn u help me find wat i need to flash the drive
I have a graphic/PCi card
A nvidia Geforce, I think its 6 series(I've installed it last year and i can't check at the moment becuz i'm at school)
How do u know if it has a Via Chip set
and do u have to buy a exspensive Sata cable cuz, a went to staples, and they ranged from $20-$40
Go into device manager on your computer, then find "SCSI and RAID controller", expand the tree by clicking the plus sign to its left, then you should be able to see what chipset you have.
You can get a VIA 6421 pci card from ebay for quite cheap. And it comes with a sata cable so no worries there.
