problems with COD4 online

I have been playing COD4 online now for about a month and every was working fine untill about a week ago. I went online to find a game and "downloading game settings" came up and wouldn't go away so I disabled the media servers and it started working again but recently it started doing it again. I can play other games online but not COD4. It works perfect when I connect it to my modem but it never works with my router. Its a wired connection to a Linksys WRT54G router. any ideas?

I was playing fine until yesterday and Igot some weird message when I tried to join games and today the message is not coming back but I have not been able to join any games for at least 1 hour. this is the error message i got. dw session created error 102-'bd_exception_in_db'

Any clues on what is going on?

I haven't been able to get into games lately, I'm ranked 43. Sometimes it gets stuck at downloading game settings too.

Thats a very common problem as of late and according to infintay ward their excuse is that their servers wern't built to handle the server load.

Laziness imo, that and the amount of bugs on there is ridiculous; perticularily the one where half the bullets don't register especially snipers.

i was having the same issue yesterday... i thought it might had been my connection... it first started by putting me bymyself in a room, where noone else would join for long periods of time.
then it would just take forever to look for a room. my bro'inlaw had the same issue, sucks but its something they need to get a fix for, really quick...

That has been pissing me off I had at least 10 clear head shots today and they only registered as body hits. knifing has been off to I stuck my knife in at least 4 peoples back and heard it make contact it managed to miss somehow.

I havent had too many probs with knifing personally, but i have had it screw up a few times.
