Ok here's my problem, some of my PS2 games are only about 1GB or 2GB, i wanna be able to use the leftover space to store some of my files, i don't wish to buy new DVDs and i've already used up the space on all my hdd as well as 7 of my external hdd, yes i have a lot of crap :P
so anyway i wanna use the Nero multisession feature to add files to DVDs, now i wouldn't worry about this if it was just a data disc but since the PS2 discs are games (images) that will need to boot up, i was wondering if me adding the files will affect this? Does it still boot up like normal and the added files won't affect it or does it read the added files as well and then shows an error reading the disc? Plz help.
what do u mean turn off multisession? I don't understand by "turn off".........i'm trying to use it to add files to a disc, it works even if u already burned the disc, some of the games i burned on DVD are only 1GB so i just wanna add files to it so i don't waste the other 3GB, yes i'm cheap but i also don't wanna waste resources and space when i know i can use them for other stuff, so does that affect the game? I.e will it still boot up if i add files to it?
And, if i try to burn 2 iso files on 1 disc, will that work? I.e burn 2 games on one disc and still be able to boot either of them separately? Maybe i can use a homebrew program to do that or something? Plz help.
tuning multisession off just means to make sure the check box is unchecked when you go to burn the dvd. i know for sure you cant have more then 1 game per dvd but idk about putting other files on it. maybe if they are in their own seperate folder on the dvd. id say go for it, i doubt it would interfer with the game loading at all. some people use DVDs on CD games (less then 700mb) and to do that they have to put on dummy files and it works fine so i dont see why it wouldnt work. just go for it
ok ty, one last question, is it possible for me to put a dvd movie onto the disc and still play it on my dvd player? I understand i can't burn it since the disc is already burned, but adding files to it using multisession would still work, except to my knowledge u have to burn the video/movie to view on the dvd player instead of just drag & drop the data files, well is it somehow possible? Maybe i can make the neccesary files and drag and drop to the disc or something?
