PSP doesnt detect router

I tried to use the internet on my 3.71m33-4 psp phat and slim, but it doesnt detect the wireless router. All the laptops are connected to it, but the PSP doesnt even detect it.
It is kind of annoying also for Infrastructure games.

I then tried downgrading to 3.03oe-c and 3.40oea (on phat) and it still couldn't detect the router.

But in other places it does detect those, so how can i get it to detect the router?

what router is it? brand and type: eg A,B,G or N

Do you have the Wlan switch on?

I know it usually tells you it isn't turned on when you go to connect but maybe the error message isn't coming up. So make sure it is pushed up.
