Hi

first of all, im sorry if this has been answered 100s of times.

i bought a pandoras battery + magic memory card on ebay and it worked fine.

since the memory card was 1 GB i decided to use it for homebrew games etc. now i am trying to use it to downgrade again for a friend. i formated it using mspformat and copied and pasted the files back into the memory card and its not working.

i reinstalled the files using the easy installer and it doesnt work.
also, when i go to into the MS on the psp and go to the pandoras battery creator i get a *game cannot be started 8002014c*

please, can anyone help?

That error code refers to 8002014C - Ran kxploited homebrew without Homebrew enabled firmware.

I am not an expert but i think you have a pandora battery but not the MMS. When you formatted i think it has wiped all the data, i do not think it can be copied/pasted back to a memory card and work.

The Process has to be repeated again for the Memory stick.

If the pandora battery is in the PSP does just the Green Light come on and nothing else? That would indicate to me that the battery cannot find the path to the Memory stick (ipl) and thus stalls.

If i am not on track here, please can some one put me straight. :)

PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck
If you need a UPMS Stick go here and then go here :-) *As recommended by January39

You just interpreted the error code wrongly; all it means is you have to switch your kernel to 1.50.
