ok so everybodys goin nuts about a ps3 iso loader and to no avail
howver i dont know if this is at all possible or if its been done yet ( im goin to scout round to see in a min tohught id post here first)
but how about putting psp isos on the ps3's hd along with a custom built psp iso loader for the ps3 which in turn would allow the ps3 to be able to boot psp iso's from the hardrive through the custom built loader and then you would have complete ability to play psp isos on the ps3 without a psp.
also how a bout constructing a custom psp firmware alredy fully avaliable for the ps3?
sounds complicated but like i said im goin to do some serious deep reasearch tonight and see what i can find.
i am sure that if the right people put there minds to this and worked together it would be more than possible.
just a idea tho :P

Of course its possible,a world famous group have been working on an iso loader since the PS3 was released.
I also think through future PS3 firmware upgrades we will be able to play the PSP on the PS3.

i said that has anybody tried putting a CUSTOM!!!! ( so that it would work with the ps3's os ) the psp has already been cracked so i just thought seeing as we already have an iso loader for the psp it wouldnt be to hard to fabricate a custom one for the ps3 allowing the ps3 to play psp iso's for those of us who dont have a psp.
fuk i didnt realise that you couldnt have thoughts or ideas no matter how stupid they are on this forum?
ill keep mi mouth shut from now on then.

A hard part cracking PS3 will sure be the Network part, cause i am almost sure that with a custom firmware you wont be able to login to PS Store or Even Sign in to PSN at all.

Honestly, why come to this thread to just say "LMAO"? What are you doing to further the PS3? Bashing people online in forums?
As a legitimate reply: Yeah it's definitely possible. However, my experience with PSP emulators on PC has been that they are very buggy and run demos only, or very few ISOs. I think the only reasonable solution would be either someone with incredible emulator coding skills, or SONY to give us a hand with this.

It is very possible to create a custom PSP ISO loader that would work on the PS3. The thing that we have to overcome first, though, is running unsigned applications on the PS3. The PS3 at the moment can't run anything not officially made/supported by Sony.
GENERATION 98: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and subtract 1 from the generation. Social experiment.
