Where do I check what firmware I do have on my Wii?
PSP (+[__]%): 2.80 < 1.50 > 3.40OE-A > 3.71M33-4 > 3.80m33-5 > 3.90m33-3 > 4.01m33-2 + 8gb MSPD
PS3 HD 60GB: 1.33 > 1.90 > 2.01 > 2.17 - NO OS

In the Will Menu click on the Wii icon (bottom left hand of screen) then Wii Settings. The firmware is listed in the top right hand corner like this Ver. 3.1U.

Okay I have 3.0U can someone tell me why now after I have installed my WiiKey it wont work? I tried burning the config 1.3 will do it again at 4X

Okay I burnt like a LOT of PALs and USAs now my question is for 1.9g you need to put the disc in, leave it in for how much time and then click on the Dics channel? OR after putting the disc in click on the Disc Channel and then leave it there how many minutes? Cuase all I get is... No disc or not recognized... is that okay?

Just a quickee. This is probably a silly question, but how do I tell what firmware my wiikey is on.
I know that the:
wii is 3.1U
Config is 1.3
wiikey update ???

no not ok
when the disc is inserted it shows the gcos logo + u run the disc like normal if it says disc unrecognisable then it hasnt burnt properly
or your chip is not working or you have flashed the chip with the wrong region update
u cud try the recovery disc if that is the case

I Burnt them at 4x and 8x should I burn one more at 2x? Or should I go check if the Wiikey was properly installed?

Yep I combined both threads at some point, here I started with firmware, the thing is as a senior member I know people will NOT all the time answer on stickies, so thats the reason why I tried to combine the threads here, I got someone checking my Wii tomorrow for a fee and he will make sure its left working, thanks.
