Hi everyone I was playing my assassin's creed and then suddenly it just froze I was just stuck there so I pressed the PS button and quit. Then I started playing again then it also froze. The third and fouth time it was fine please help me with this I have a PAL assassins creed and a PAL ps3 40gb

Yeah this is pretty common. It happens on my 60GB with NTSC version also from time to time.

so you mean to say that this is the problem with the game or the console. My console dosnt gaet hot if I play it for 8 hrs straight

Connect your PS3 to the internet and download the patch. If you are connected just boot up the game and you should get a prompt asking you to install the update/patch. I don't know if you can get it through you PC or not.

It did not prompt you to install an update when you put in the disc?
I had the patch installed a few weeks ago and I have not had any freezing issues since.

He might have not had it connected to the internet.

bad news buddy, its prob the laser, cuz thats what happened to mine and after some time, PS DIDNT READ ANY DISCS. Laser stuffed up. So im guessing your laser is in its early stages of stuffing up.
