I soldered my WiiKey onto my Wii, following the diagram. Now, original games (RE4, Wii Sports) will work fine, but I can't seem to get backup anything working. I am not 100% sure I've done the setup for the discs right, so I'm kinda lost for sure.
What would I have done wrong that the Wii originals would work, but not backups?
Edit: As I think about it, could it be the discs themselves that I'm using? I first tried on Maxell DVD+R single-layer discs, but have some Imation DVD-R discs I might be able to try as well. . .

i use maxell 16x dvd-r but have some games on maxell dvd+r too so maxells are ok for wii
