Can't Flash Benq VAD6038

I am using iPrep to try to flash. When trying to dump the original firmware I cannot. When I am supposed to plug in the 360 and get 0xD1/0x51, I do, but when I unplug it and plug it back in I get 0xD1/0x51 again, I never get 0x73. Sometimes before the toggling continues after I plug in the 360 0x80 will flash. Iprep says my SATA card is compatible with Dosflash and MTK Flash. What do I need to do to fix this?

I never unplug 360's when flashing them... I use the power button on the front of the 360 to power it on and off... Make sure your 360 (BENQ) is off when it tells you.... hit Y and resend the MTK command then turn the 360 on... if it doesn't start dumping then... turn the 360 back off... wait about 5 secs and turn it back on and it should dump your original FW... repeat the same process to flash it... sounds like you almost have it... good luck...

I was able to flash the 360 with a VIA SATA chipset, but thanks anyway

Are you using dosflash or some other method. I find dosflash the easiest to flash the benq. With dosflash instead of using all those confusing commands, when you boot into dos type dosflash and it will tell you where your benq drive is and it will ask you what you wanna do W for write E for erase and r for read. First you read your firmware to get the original key, they you boot into windows and make your flashed firmware and put it on the usb. Then you just erase and flash

I'm using iPrep v006 through NTFS for DOS. What version of DosFlash did you use? Is there a tutorial avail.?
