I have a wii but I dont know if it can get modded or not. I heard that you can tell by the serial no. or model no. If that is true can someone help me with this?

If it's Pre-D2C then you can use any mod chip except for D2C chips such as D2CKey or Argon.

If it's D2C then you will need to use either D2CKey or Argon.

when I went to that nintendo website it said that my system was a GC2-D2B and the drive pins were most likely not cut. So if my system is a GC2-D2B, what mod chip do I have to use or can it get modded at all?

dude modding it is very easy i did my (first time soldering) it was so freaking easy all you buy is buy some flux .. some desoldering thread and a 15watt iron get 30awg wire and some .022 solder and your good to go... :) btw i used a wiikey i got mine here http://www.modchipcentral.com/store/Wiik...undle-p-13.html
this was the cheapest i found and it is very reliable. any other questions just ask man... u dont need to worrie sending it to some one and risk getting it stolen ... im not bad mouthing Darkness but its kind of a rip off to get some one else to do it.

I am currently using them at the moment and will be able to report back on their efficiency in a few days.

I just got my Wii back via collect and return (by parcelforce) and everything is working flawlessly. I would really recommend these guys. (It also seems to come with a warranty which is a bonus I didn't really expect)
