What Are The Other Files On The 3.71 M33-4 Update??

I just updated my psp to 3.71 M33-4 (thanks to Crazykid3). After I updated my psp there were other files on the .RAR file I downloaded. It was called something like "popstation_md" (without quotes) and "seplugins" inside "seplugins" (without quotes) is popsloader or something like that. Are those files neccessary to put on my psp? Do they make my psp better? what do they do? Should I put them?
