I read in one of the other messages that when you rip a dvd you should finish up with vob files, BUP and IFO files.I have ripped 3 of my own dvd's for backup using smart ripper, but cannot see a BUP file only the vob and IFO files.Should there be a BUP file every time you rip a dvd.

Could this be the reason when I try to burn the files onto a dvd-r using Nero, I get a message saying unknown format, because there is no BUP file.
