hey, im trying to set up xbox live on my 360 but by console is way too far from my modem & router, and the wireless adapter is sold out everywhere in my area.. so is there anyway i can connect my 360 to my laptop with an ethernet cable and connect to live that way?

this question has been asked so many times in the last tew weeks.
use google to find your answer or go to xbox live, there is info there on how to do it.

Yes, connect the xbox 360 to your laptop via the ethernet port, go into control panel, followed by network connections, right click on your internet connection and click properties, click the advanced tab, and enable "Internet Connection Sharing". You should be able to connect to live now.
