Just like the title says, how do I do it?
I had issues with M33-4, so I tried HX. I want to go BACK to M33 and see if it's any better with a reinstall.
How do I do it? I already have the 3.71M33 and M33-4 files, but when I copy the update folder to the GAME folder, it says "It cannot start because it's corrupted" or something along those lines...

Do you have a SLIM or FAT?

If you have a SLIM go HERE and create a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick (This can be used for FAT as well).

If you have a FAT go HERE and follow this guide to downgrade back to 1.50 then up to 3.52 M33-4.

Then go HERE to get back to 3.71 M33-4.

I have a Slim.
WHy the heck would I need the battery and MS again if I already have CFW?????

Becuase you need to downgrade back to 3.71 M33-2 then install the 3.71 M33-4 update.

You can try using this method HERE but I duno if it will downgrade from 3.73 HX to 3.71 M33 using this method.

So your safest bet is using Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick.

Any other guides to try w/o using the battery/MS?

My friend is the one with the stuff, that's why I ask...

Nope that is the only 2 options.

Again I have no idea if the 1 method will even work. But the Pandora Battery and Magic memory Stick is the safest way to go.

Or keep the 3.73 HX custom firmware on it.

I have never tried HX but what I have heard M33 is much more stable and allot of the plug-ins etc. etc. don't work with HX.

Making a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick is not that difficult if you follow the guide.

Again, my friend is the one who installed CFW on my PSP. He has the Pandora battery and magic MS already.
Plus I don't have an extra battery and MS lying around...

You don't need an extra Memory Stick and battery.

Just back up your Memory Stick as it is now onto the PC. Now use it as a Magic Memory Stick. Convert the Battery to a Pandora Battery.

Install 3.71 M33-2 to the PSP using them both.

Now convert the Battery back to normal then format the Memroy Stick and copy the backup files back to your Memory Stick and your done.
