thanks i thought it was something like that, comes up with all my back up & config & update discs, since i unbricked my jap wii with wiifit

Do gamecube backups work? Try making one and let us know

So far we have three people who have reported problems after running WiiFIT (Jap) in the last week or so. However the problems seem to be different:

1) Backups go to black screen
2) Backup games do not work, but update discs do
3) Backup games go to DRE screen

so back to my question, if Wii backups do not work, how about gamecube ones?

right, i have just tried a GC game, i put it in the first time i still got the gray disc with the ?, so i ejected & tried again, the GC symbol came up, & started to load then the screen went blank, i'm thinking this is a good sign, now i need to get my head round making a GCOS disc, with the hacked 1.3, i have tried to do a GCOS before.

Try burning at lower speeds.

got wii back up & running using the first disc i wrote 1.9g jap, took about ten times for the wii to see it was a GC disc, so all i need to do is the config 1.3, to check the region, thanks for your help
