Can a Modded Wii play DVD Movies?

I just recently Modded my wii and i tried to play a dvd but i get disc read errors.... any suggestions? Im using a WiiKey

i suggest using a dvd player. they're like $20.

its just a question considering its modded and all??? and not all dvd players play burned dvds there might be a possibility that the wii can and could even play vcd?

There is a way to play DVD movies with the Wiikey...but it's too complicated so you are better off just staying away from it.

No the Wii cannot play VCD.

How is it complicated? Does it involve altering the Dvd its self to play on the Modded Wii?

why risk screwing the drive in your wii

listen to the advice given and save yourself major cost and hassle
