People on other forums such as Max Console have been claiming that they run the 1.9g WiiKey update disc but SMG still doesn't work. People have claimed to eject the DVD before TEST and before UPDATE for SMG to work. Is this true with all consoles? What speed should I burn the update disc at to ensure that it works?
Also, (stupid question) does the 1.9g only work for SMG or for all games because on other forums people say that the 1.9g WiiKey update is onlyfor SMG. Is this true? Or can I play every game with the 1.9g WiiKey update?
For the 1.9g update, will it be safe to play ALLgames other than SMG, without my Wii being affected? Because the update is specifically targeted at SMG.

Thanks for all the help, but I think you may have misinterpreted my question a slight bit :S I was asking whether other Wii games besides SMG works on the WiiKey 1.9g such as Fifa 08 or Super Paper Mario and all the other games that have worked with firmware 1.9b
I have the latest PALNintendo Wii firmware (3.1E) and am planning to use PAL games only.

Thanks for all of your help, I really appreciate it. 1 last question, though (maybe :D) For Wii ISO games what speed of burning them to disc would you recommend that would work perfectly?
nintendo wii games are definitely picky... from media to burn speeds. i personally believe that it depends on the game. i tried to make a backup of my manhunt 2 and it didn't work on 2x, 4x, or 8x but other people said that it worked for them on 16x. i've been using the same sony discs ive always used without any fuss. so as i said before nintendo wii games are picky ;)
