Hey just wondering if there is a way of making the magic memory stick without administrator account because I don't have access to one.

Sorry for double posting but I was also wondering if there was a flasher that can enable me to flash a .bin (msipl.bin) to the memory stick. (Has to be PSP Slim compatible.)

It still doesn't work on Vista at my friend's house who has limited priviledges. I have Windows XP and it doesn't seem to work either. I guess my only option is to flash it with a program that is compatible with PSP Slim... Any suggestions?

ya that's the installer I have trouble with. It just says that it didn't flash it and put msipl.bin on the root of MS. (Didn't flash it.)

after i get outta school i can send a guide that is for mms...i would do it now but the site is blocked......but it is on the site psp-mod.com go to psp> hardware> and look for it there

there is no flasher for the psp. it's all created manually or automatically on the computer. or you can use the u.p.m.s. cso to make the magic memory stick, but it has to be done on a custom firmware psp, obviously.

if you don't have administrative rights, then you can't do anything.

But the homebrew called "Pandora Installer for 3.XX Kernels" has an option of mspformatting the stick and flashing msipl to it. So maybe I'll just use that. Oh and I do have a homebrew enabled PSP. 3.71 M33-4.
