An article in PSP-Hacks states that Noobz has released a homebrew app that allows you to make phone calls from your PSP. You need a USB microphone or headset (has to be on their approved list, so it can support it), but it's fairly simple. The only problem is that US residence has to pay for the service. They state that UK people can get it for free. Basicly, the app wirelessly connects to a server that allows for phone calls over the Internet. In the UK, they have several servers that can do this free of charge, but US residence has to pay. I search all over for VOIP Services (Voice-Over IP is how the app works), and the cheapest I could find was $0.012 cents a minute in the US. But your PSP gets it's own phone number! Oh, well. Since the app is beta (version 0.1), I'm not going to pay for any service just yet. I'd wait until they revamp it a little better before willing to spend money on it.

yeah but sadly the adapter you need to use the psp head set is like impossible to find in the U.K.

i got my head set free with SOCOM but you cant find the adapter so the microphone works but at least its a semi decent pair of ear phones lol

is there no way of the U.S. connecting to one of our servers? (u.k.)
