i can't believe my eyes..
Quote:
In a statement to the media Press Secretary Tony Snow explained. The President of the United States does not think the PS3 game "Blood for Oil 2: Mission Accomplished" is suitable for play. "Yes the game depicts events that happen in Iraq every day but we don't think the citizens of the United States should see what is being done in their name and on their behalf in Iraq.
i believe its our totaal right to know whats being done in our name and on our behalf. what make them think they can authorize whatever they want because they can cover it up? obviously alot since most americans i know don't believe any of this would be true. we are too nice nd caring of other humans, and freedom. my a$$, eh?

But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Just when you think the Ps3 is going to have another Exclusive.... lol Jk

That's complete garbage what they've done, its manhunt 2 all over again this time for even worse reasons. More brainwashing subliminal editing behind the scenes by the Republicans; seems to be their specialty. Their quote is what perturbed me the most; basically they said just what we were all thinking, they didn't give 2 rats asses about the torture (clearly because if they do it in real life whats the problem with putting it in a video game eh?), and that the real problem they had with it was they didn't want the American people to see whats actually going on from a 1st person point of view. And its a sequel? what became of the 1st one?

In other news there's still plenty of room for people to move into Canada ^.^'

I hate the Bush administration as much as the next guy (probably even more), but two things: 1- I find it really hard to believe that this is true considering that the "source" holds no credit whatsoever. There is no reference to anything in that "article." The terrible grammar doesn't help either. 2- I have never heard of this game, and when googled, it doesn't appear anywhere (IGN, Sony etc.).

Therefore, I doubt this is true. I still hate the Bush administration though.

I never heard of this game as well, but it wouldn't suprise me as I have heard of Saddam being took out of a couple of games awhile back as well.I think the game was called Desert Strike or something like that, but I'm not certain.Manhunt is pretty intense, but aren't these games rated on a daily basis or did they stop doing that. What is the point of rating a game if they are not even going to release it anyway.I'm wondering are there subliminal messages hidden in these games or something of that nature.I played Manhunt and didn't see what the big fuss was about.I see more violence on TV than I do in games, not to mention movies.Games seem to be a pretty big target, and it is BS if you ask me.

I can understand Bush banning the game,it probably is truley accurate of the MURDER he has commited in Iraq.He should of banned that awful film American Soldiers: A Day in Iraq(supposedly based on a true story).
Also isnt America the land of the Free, yet this game is banned.I hope i havnt offended anyone by what ive said, its just the way i feel about it.

Agreed. I think Bush should stick to politics and stay out of the gaming industry. Every other game that has been banned or watered down or threatened to banned all had legit reasons except for this. Thank God that this is Bush's last year.

Thank you! As I said in the 3rd post, this isn't real.

My hatred, and it seems like many others here as well, of this current administration is very real though. lol

This is a must read:

Quote:
Unconfirmed Sources political satire and news story parodies as represented above are written as satire or parody. They are, of course, fictitious.
I CAN believe my eyes when I see this quote on the front page of that website.

PS Their grammar is still terrible.

Like the site URL says..."uncomfirmed sources"... I think the whole story is bullsh*t.. I searched everywhere and I dont see a mention, a search in google,yahoo,dogpile,etc,etc.....If there was a game with such content, I would love to play it!! Let me guess, Bush consulted Bigfoot in Canada and they decided the game is a "No Go"....Next Bush is going to "Declare War on Video Games"....Guess his dad didnt succeed there either....

Apparently no one is paying attention to the previous posts (including my first one when I called BS): this article is from a political satire website. I even quoted their disclaimer!
