Hi friends,

I have been trying to burn my favorite dvd movies from my hard disk to single dvd 4.7. First I use the dvd shrink. Then I tried with nero7 and roxio. With roxio it's OK for 2 movies, but when I tried to burn 3 movies it kept on saying not enough space even though the total space required is not more than 4G.
Could anyone guide me through.

With thanks.

It's referring to the space on your hard disk. You need to free up some.

Just a hint... your video files (AVI) are only small on your HD!
When their converted to DVD-format they require more space, because they're higher quality.

Another thing, burning more than 2 full length feature films onto a 4.7Gb DVD is pointless. You'll get horrible quality as they need to be heavily compressed. At least try that on a Dual Layer DVD if you really want to cram as much in as possible.

Lastly, Forget those programs, use DVDFlick! http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_...s/dvd_flick.cfm

It's free, it's simple and it gives far superior results to Nero and Roxio, which are absolute crap when it comes to transcoding AVI.

roxio and nero conflict each other, dump roxio then get the roxio zap tool to get rid of registry, this is half your problem...
