I have opened up the xbox 360, and found out that i have a sm 25 dvd drive, I have already flashed m5 512 mb flash drive, but I don't have a Sata cable. Are all SAta cables the same, cuz i saw one at radio shack for 6 dollar.

Also where do u hook the sata cable too.
Do u hook it up to the ms 28 or to the back of the xbox 360 above the network cable.

I beleive that all SATA cales are the same and you have to connect it to the DVD DRIVE itself. Pull out the SATA cable from the dvd drive and connect the SATA cable that runs from your computer to the DVD DRIVE so you can get it regonize in mode B

No. You hook the sata cable up to the 360 drive and the other end into a PCI SATA card. They'll run you around $20.

I really suggest you read a guide...no offense but it's clear you don't quite grasp the procedure, look for Textbooks guide it's very informative.

Look here for a tutorial http://www.360mods.net/

They have a good tutorial that I had used and found handy.Also look in UTUBE for videos.I read the tutorial and followed a video so I knew what I was doing the first time.

do all pci cards have sata slots,? cuz i do already have on, it's a Nvaida geforce 6 seies,
I didn't really check it cuz i was pluging the sata cable to the motherboard

Well if you have a SATA cable on the Motherboard then you should use that.
