Does the Dualshock 3 import work flawless on an American console?? Or is there problems??

A friend of mine has one that he uses on his UK (PAL) system that was imported from Japan and it works perfectly...so i cant see it being any different on the US systems.

However as far as im aware there is currently only 1 game (Ratchet and Clank) that uses the dualshock function, so i'll be waiting till they're released over here and more games use the function before i buy one, so it will definitely work without any problems.

One game? Where did you get that idea from?

There are many games out there that have been updated to work with DS3, some are RFOM, Warhawk, Unreal Tournament III..

Ah right...his DS3 pad was imported by our local (independant) game shop, and the owner told him that the only game it would work with was Ratchet and Clank!
Thanks for the update though, i'll let him know! He'll be pleased to know that there are other games he can use the pad with already (he was gutted when he thought he'd spent £45 on a pad that he couldnt use yet lol).
