Hi, this is a real head-scratcher, and I just give up...I used Ripit4me, DVD shrink (set to save as ISO file) and ImgBurn to Rip copies, but am trying to lighten my tote while traveling. So how do I take that remaining ISO (not the whole win-rar file) and send it to my web-based email account so I can watch my selections with VLC media player when I get to my destination? Several unsucessful attempts to right-click "compress and email" took over 4 hours and jammed the gmail account, so it's back to the drawing board for me. Would be really really nice not to have to carry a notebook and disks since I won't need them while traveling. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Most emails have a size limit for attachments, around 10MB? ot so. I dont think you will be able to send it by traditional email.

Why not upload it to megashare or rapidshare and download when you need it?

Hi LoCOENG,
I thought about that suggestion...but it would have to be broken down(maybe with a rar archiver) into small pieces, upload all of those and then retrieve them. I think they also have a 100 MB or so limit per file.

They do have a limit so it would probably be a good idea to go ahead and create an avi and upload it. It would be a bit of a bother, but it might be the only way to go.

Thanks for your suggestions, the AVI file sounds like it will be my first try. I will also take a look at a forum thread also just started on the AVI question. Thanks!
