Need some good advice about PSP Firmware

Hello everyone,

My friend at work has recently bought a new PSP Version running on version 3.73 and he would like me to install firmware to allow him to run homebrew iso files but im unsure as to how this can be done safely so if anyone can make some suggestions i will be very grateful...

Ive updated my psp from a 1.5 to dark alex and now im using M33 3.52 which is fantastic and i would like to put this on his psp but without bricking it so should i downgrade from 3.73 to 1.5 or 2.0 and then update with the 3.52 M33 or is there a better way...

Any feedback appreciated )

3.73 cant be downgade. You will be needed to use a pandora battery. Even, u brick ur friend's psp. U can just use pandora to fix it again.

So you think its best to install the 3.52 M33 firmware immediately and then the psp will still be ok to use without a downgrade?

no, u need to downgrade (pandora) first then u upgrade to 3.73 CFW. Plz go the Mod and firmware section and read the stickies
